Preparation
Cut enough paper strips so that each student will have one strip for each member of his family.
Procedure
Have each student write the names of the members of his family on the strips of paper. Then help each student make a paper chain. Staple, glue, or tape the ends of one strip together. Then, looping the next strip through the first, continue the pattern until all paper strips are connected. Make sure to hook the final strip through the first and last loops on the chain so as to make a continuous circle.
Ask the students why the strips of paper they have joined together into chains are like families. Ask them why they think God wants us to live together in families.
