My Baptismal Covenant

At baptism, you make a covenant with your Heavenly Father. A covenant is a two-way promise. When you make a covenant with someone, you agree to do certain things and he agrees to do certain things. Each of you make a promise to the other.

Heavenly Father Promises:
  1. He will forgive me.
  2. He will give me the help of the Holy Ghost.
  3. He will give me Eternal Life.
I Promise:
  1. I will follow Jesus.
  2. I will remember Jesus.
  3. I will keep His commandments.
My baptismal covenant:

I, __________________________________, promise to obey Jesus' commandments. If I keep my part of this covenant, Heavenly Father promises to forgive me when I repent, give me the gift of the Holy Ghost, and let me live with Him forever.
